The cultivation area of bunching onion for export of Yen Dung Clean Vegetable Cooperative.

The Cooperative plans to export more than 20 tonnes of the bunching onion till February.

To ensure the export standard for the product, the Cooperative linked to Japanese experts to get the instruction and supervision during the cultivation period.

The water and soil samples were analyzed. Then the bunching onion was grown in the membrane houses from October 2019 covering a total area of over 1.2 hectare. Each stage of seedling and fertilizing was done following the Japanese procedure. The harvested products must be tested and only qualified ones are exported.

From the initial success, the Cooperative will continue negotiating and expanding the crops to introduce to Japan in the upcoming time.
