Bac Giang supports safe vegetable farming cooperative

The Bac Giang provincial Alliance of Cooperatives has recently selected an agriculture cooperative as the support beneficiary for the first time in the local area.

After thorough inspection, the Safe Vegetable Cultivation Cooperative in Hoang Mai village, Hoang Ninh commune (Viet Yen district) was fully qualified with the criteria; hence receiving a support cost of 250 million VND (11,000 USD).

The cooperative planned to buy the seedlings, equipment for product preservation and processing as well as reinforced the manpower to enhance the cooperative management capability.

The Cooperative is specialized in growing vegetables in the nethouse as one of the hi-tech agriculture cultivation models in Viet Yen district. The comsumption of post-harvest products are conducted in several contracts.
