There is a number on the labels of products called PLU (Product Lookup Number). If PLU is 4 numbers that start with 3 or 4, it means the product is GMO but was produced on a farm using chemicals and pesticides.

If the label has 5 numbers starting with 9, it means that the product is organic, produced without chemicals, pesticides, and genetic modification.

But products labeled 5-digit number beginning with 8 are genetically modified.
