High fructiferous rate of early ripen lychee

Tan Yen district in the northern province of Bac Giang houses over 1,000 hectares of early ripen lychee, mostly located at the communes of Phuc Hoa, Lien Son and Hop Duc. Thanks to the favorable weather condition in the spring-winter crop, high flowering and fruit-bearing rates are achieved of over 90 percent, the district Divison of Agriculture and Rural Development reported.

The early ripen lychee orchard of Nguyen Van Tien in Voi hamlet, Phuc Hoa commune (Tan Yen district) enjoys a bumper crop.

Adding to 108 existing hectares of lychee growing under Viet GAP process, the district continues supporting the communes to expand more 100 hectares in this season.

Besides, the local authority encourages the farmers and cooperatives to link the cultivation and consumption under the chain, strictly monitor the good agricultural practice procedure while granting the certificates for safe products, stamping for origin traceability so as to increase the value and facilitate the product consumption.
