Bệnh Ký Sinh Trùng Vorticella Trên Tôm

Nếu tôm bị các sợi màu trắng bám trên chủy, đầu hoặc chân có thể do nhiễm ký sinh trùng hoặc nấm.

Chủ yếu là các nhóm Vorticella sau:
 Vorticella campanula (Phổ biến nhất)               
 Vorticella citrina
 Vorticella communis
 Vorticella convallaria
 Vorticella floridensis
 Vorticella limnetis
 Vorticella marina
 Vorticella microstoma
 Vorticella monilata
 Vorticella patellina
 Vorticella similis
 Vorticella smaragdina
 Vorticella sphaerica
 Vorticella striata
 Vorticella submicrostoma
 Vorticella utriculus
 
Vorticella là dấu hiệu của nước ao đã bị ô nhiễm nặng. Bệnh này sẽ nhẹ đi nếu tôm lột xác được vì ký sinh trùng này bám vào lợp vỏ ngoài của tôm. Nếu có nhiều Vorticella trên đầu, chủy thì tôm sẽ giảm ăn hoặc bỏ ăn.
